Up, up, and up. We celebrate the arrival of Fall by taking a walk up some San Francisco hills.
No need to look far for those famous San Francisco hills, a quick walk around the Dolores Park neighborhood rewards us with several steep examples.
Sensible shoes are required, however, as recently discovered by new to the Bay artist Teresa, who recently wrecked a new pair of sandals while going for a walk in her neighborhood.
Here, Teresa joins us for a walk near Dolores Park in a well-worn pair of white sneakers.
What do you do?
I'm a full time artist. I freelance with an emphasis in fashion photography but work all sides of the creative industry including modeling, post processing, and video. I just started working with a new start up brand as a brand consultant and media planner too, and I'm really excited to take on new projects.
Favorite place to work?
My favorite place to work is at home. I'm good at pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, so having a safe space where I can enjoy my time alone is important to me. I also like my local coffee shops, my office is very portable and I've always wanted the freedom to work wherever I please. I value the ability to remain unrestricted and love being on the go.
Walk, Muni, or Lyft?
I like to walk to get around the city. Growing up I always dreamed about a fast paced lifestyle; I'm a city girl for now. It's an experience I've always wanted to for myself and I'm proud to to be able to provide this for myself at such a young age and in such a competitive place like San Francisco.
Best music to listen to while you walk?
I love having my headphones on and strutting down the city streets. My heavy rotation right now includes Junglepussy's latest album and Noname's new release. I've got playlists on playlists if anybody wants to exchange!
