Then there's the joy of arrival; opening the door to your unknown room, unpacking, the bright crisp room, the release from day to day activities.
And what better way to unwind than a stay at the storied Berkeley City Club? Originally the Berkeley Women's City Club, the building was designed by Julia Morgan, the first woman to be admitted to the Ecolo des Beaux-Arts in Paris to study architecture. We recently booked a stay, bringing only a few essential pieces.
